Responsibilities:

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive advanced cardiac procedures, has thorough knowledge of all Cath/EP Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures and provide sedation for patients. Additionally, will serve as subject matter expert in challenging and difficult cases by providing guidance to fellow Cath lab/EP lab techs in the proper operation of equipment and procedures used in the Catheterization Laboratory.Must be able to perform a combination of higher-level work such as Cath, EP, and/or Vascular.

Qualifications:Education
  • Graduate of Registered Nurse (RN) Required or
  • Graduate of Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required or
  • Graduate of Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Required
Work Experience
  • 4 years of Cath Lab Tech Experience Required
Licenses and Certifications
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current Georgia RN license Upon Hire Required or
  • RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist RCIS or RCES Upon Hire Required or
  • RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
  • ACLS Upon Hire Required
