Job description

Assisting the physician in performance of invasive electrophysiology procedures. Has basic knowledge of EP Lab equipment and the maintenance of it while administering direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Provides direct and indirect care during established procedures and sedation for patients.

Education
  • Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), EP program graduate, Respiratory Therapist, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, or Radiology Technologist Required
Work Experience
  • No experience required Required
Licenses and Certifications
  • Based on healthcare experience (see above) applicable license Upon Hire Required or

  • If a graduate of RCIS or EP program, Must obtain RCIS/RCES within 24 months Required

  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and

  • ACLS Upon Hire Required
