Position Available: Dentist (4 Days Per Week)

We are currently looking for a Dentist to join our expanding team as a Traveler. Support our mission of delivering outstanding dental care in the community and help us create more smiles and memorable experiences for both children and adults.   • Participate in morning huddles (you can even lead one!), organize your day, express appreciation to your team, and highlight excellent examples of customer focus, teamwork, and goal achievement.
  • Enjoy working with children, who represent 70% or more of our patient base.
Responsibilities

As an Associate Dentist, you will provide dental services to patients with the support of your team. Our practice includes:

  • DentaPro software
  • Digital x-ray and Panorex units
  • Fiber-optic handpieces
  • Annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training
  • A team ratio of 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, and 2 dental assistants per provider
  • A patient base primarily consisting of ages 3-21, with up to 30% adult patients (depending on location)
  • Office flow averaging 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients
  • A mix of state insurance plans, PPO, and out-of-network payors

Qualifications

We expect you to possess:

  • DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
  • A current, valid license to practice dentistry in the states where care is provided or eligibility for licensure
  • Other necessary certifications, such as CPR and DEA
  • Nitrous Oxide certification (only for LA, MS, DC, TX, MA)
  • A compassionate nature and a strong commitment to providing dental care to both children and adults
