Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our clinical team. The LVN will provide direct nursing care and support within our behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment programs. This role works closely with clinical staff, psychiatrists, therapists, and support teams to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-focused, and experienced in behavioral health or related healthcare settings.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed clinical staff and physicians
  • Administer medications and monitor medication adherence per physician orders
  • Conduct basic patient assessments, including vital signs and health status checks
  • Monitor and document patient conditions, behaviors, and changes in status
  • Support psychiatric and behavioral health treatment plans
  • Assist with intake assessments, care coordination, and discharge planning
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EHR system
  • Respond to patient needs and ensure a safe, supportive treatment environment
  • Collaborate with RNs, therapists, psychiatrists, and other clinical staff
  • Follow all HIPAA, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance standards

Shifts Available (LVN Scheduling Options)

We offer flexible scheduling with both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts available.

DAY SHIFT

  • 8-hour shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 12-hour shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

EVENING SHIFT

  • 8-hour shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

NIGHT SHIFT

  • 8-hour shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
  • 12-hour shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Schedule Notes:

  • Full-time position available
  • Rotating weekends may be required depending on facility needs
  • Shift differentials may apply for evening and night shifts


Qualifications

Required

  • Active California LVN license in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program
  • CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred

  • Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment settings
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Experience with medication administration and patient monitoring
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills


Salary & Compensation

  • $60,000 – $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
