Job description

Job Title:- L2 Support
Duration:- 8+ months
Location:- El Segundo, CA (HYBRID ROLE)
Years of experience required: 10-15
Job description and responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with all support teams for any high-priority issues Outage
  • Should be familiar with Java, and Spring boot mS to be able to fix the production bugs which are show stoppers, and deploy to production.
  • Should be able to replicate the issue in a lower environment and test and deploy the bug fixes.
  • Application monitoring activities - daily jobs
  • Incident handling - troubleshoot/debug user-related tickets that are raised in the front-end application which is being used in retail stores.
  • Morning checkout, Regression in a pre-production environment and also in a production environment
  • Additional Support during the weekend/monthly billing release
  • Report preparation on adhoc request
  • Production Team currently does the following activities
  • Monitor Application
  • Provide Governance reports
  • Health check reports
  • Production release report
  • Defect Analysis
  • Production Monitoring
  • Microservice Health check report
  • Production Team do need JAVA background as they need to read code and find out what was the root cause
  • Experience in Dynatrace and AppDynamics
  • Awareness of ELK is good to have but not required
  • They just need to know, How to use Dashboards, How to Apply Filter, and Kibana which can be trained quickly
  • Currently, Dashboards are created by the existing Elasticsearch support team.
  • The Elasticsearch support team manages Dashboards E2E, they give these dashboards to this team
  • The primary task of the existing production team is to monitor the application
  • Primarily L2 type support

Skill set: Java, Monitoring Tools, Linux, Shell Scripting, Dynatrace, ELK stack (Kibana, etc.), AppDynamics.
