Job description

Kumon Of Loganville in Loganville, GA is looking for an Early Learner & Primary Instruction (EL/PI) individual to join our fast growing center. We are located on 4743 Atlanta Highway, Suite 160, Loganville GA. 


The EL/PI Assistant must have a passion for working with children, a positive attitude and calm demeanor. He/she must be professional at all times while interacting with students, families and staff. The applicant must also have a willingness to learn and follow the KUMON METHOD. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. 


Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Working with up to two students at a time helping them complete their Kumon assignments

• Working with students to develop an understanding of the center routine

• Grading completed worksheets

• Reading with students (Early Learners)

• Providing directions for Primary Learners(students new to the center)

• Participating in training sessions

• Ensuring instructor is aware of necessary information regarding performance of students

• Assisting the Instructor as needed

• Assisting in Center Maintenance


Qualifications:

• Must be at least 17 years of age 

• Must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher if current high school student.

• An experience of at least one year working with children is preferred. (Babysitting does not count)

• Must pass a criminal background check if 18 years or older

• Training in CPR and First Aid is preferred. 

• Fluency in the English language and good math skills required.

• Fluency in other languages is a bonus.


 Pay will be determined based on experience and education. 

Work hours:

Class Hours: Monday and Thursday 3.30-7.30pm, Wednesday 4-7pm, Saturday 10.30am-1.30

Non Class Hours: Tuesday, Friday and Saturday - As needed for staff meetings, grading and training's.
