Job description

  • DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
    • The Scheduling and Staffing Assistant, under the direction of the manager, works closely with all of the Directors, Managers, and House Supervisors to effectively staff the departments, perform Kronos functions, run attendance reports, and enter Kronos schedules.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    • Professional/Educational
      • Associate Degree preferred.
      • Proficiency in multiple computer applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and excellent math skills are required.
      • Clerical experience in healthcare is desired.
      • Experience with clinical scheduling concepts desired.
      • Ability to analyze and recommend solutions to scheduling and staffing problems.
    • Personal
      • Evidence of good health, professional conduct, and excellent customer service skills.
      • Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others.
      • Possess a sense of responsibility, initiative, and honesty.
      • Ability to follow directions accurately.
      • Appreciation of and desire to be a part of a health care team dedicated to providing optimal patient care.
      • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet work demands.
      • Willingness to accept hospital policy and abide by the rules set forth.
      • Ability to lead small groups for training purposes.
 

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
