Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of machinery, physical structures, and building systems. This is a hands-on, high-impact position essential to keeping operations running safely and efficiently.

Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment & Machinery Maintenance
  • Visually inspect, test, and evaluate machinery and equipment to identify issues before failures occur.

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems and perform effective repairs.

  • Dismantle defective machines, remove worn parts, and install new or rebuilt components.

  • Clean, lubricate, and service shafts, bearings, gears, motors, and other moving parts.

  • Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and utilities.

  • Set up and operate machine tools (lathe, grinder, drill press, milling machine) to repair or fabricate parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.

  • Troubleshoot recurring issues and provide independent recommendations to prevent future downtime.

Facility & Building Systems
  • Repair physical structures, including walls, floors, doors, and general facility components.

  • Perform general maintenance tasks including basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and light electrical work.

  • Replace lighting, handle basic custodial tasks when needed, and maintain a clean working environment.

  • Safely work at heights up to 30 feet using aerial or scissor lifts.

Safety, Documentation & Collaboration
  • Follow all OSHA safety standards, procedures, and PPE requirements.

  • Properly use lockout/tag-out (LOTO) practices to ensure safe maintenance.

  • Document all maintenance activities in the CMMS or preventive maintenance database.

  • Coordinate with Scheduling when maintenance tasks will impact production (1+ hour downtime).

  • Know when to call in specialized technicians for advanced repairs.

  • Maintain a strict maintenance schedule while adapting to changing priorities and urgent needs.

RequirementsExperience & Skills
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment.

  • Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, pipe systems, and facility structures.

  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA Safety Standards and compliance practices.

  • Experience with Krones equipment is a strong plus.

  • Ability to perform basic math, read technical manuals, and use computer systems for reporting.

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and work at heights up to 30 ft.

Education & Certifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Relevant trade experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water treatment, mechanical, or similar fields highly preferred.

  • Supervisory or lead experience is highly desirable.

Professional Qualifications
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English for workplace safety.

  • Strong, stable work history with 2–3 years per role and solid professional references.

  • Willingness to work overtime and attend training outside normal shift hours.
