Job description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Label Machine Operator / Production Worker to operate labeling equipment and ensure products are properly labeled and prepared for production. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and will follow all safety and quality procedures.


Responsibilities
  • Operate the label machine to maintain production efficiency and quality standards.
  • Obtain the correct labels from the designated area.
  • Load labels into the labeling machine according to operating procedures.
  • Run test cans to check label alignment, placement, and glue pattern.
  • Make adjustments to the label magazine as needed to ensure labels are applied correctly.
  • Monitor labeled cans continuously throughout production to ensure proper labeling.
  • Perform label changes when production codes or products change.
  • Ensure cans from the previous production code have been cleared before starting a new label.
  • Communicate with other production team members when a label change is required.
  • Start the labeling line once all appropriate team members are ready.
  • Monitor and maintain the proper glue level in the glue pot.
  • Operate and monitor Krones or Eti Tech labeling equipment as assigned.
  • Report equipment problems, labeling issues, or safety concerns to the Line Leader or Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Leader or Supervisor.
  • Follow all company policies, production standards, and safety requirements.
Safety Requirements
  • Follow all machine safety procedures and operating instructions.
  • Report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns immediately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to help ensure a safe production environment.
Qualifications
  • Previous production or machine operation experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify labeling issues.
  • Ability to follow instructions and production procedures.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Willingness to learn and operate production equipment safely.
