Job description

Trueline, a fast-growing beverage manufacturer operating a new, fully automated production facility, is seeking a Process Maintenance Engineer - Bottling Systems to join their onsite team in Waco, Texas. This highly visible role will serve as the technical authority for a high-speed bottling operation, improving equipment reliability, guiding maintenance technicians, and helping support continued production expansion.
What You'll Do as the Process Maintenance Engineer - Bottling Systems:
  • Serve as the technical lead for the plant's high-speed bottling lines
  • Troubleshoot and optimize bottle manufacturing, filling, capping, conveying, inspection, and packaging equipment
  • Support maintenance technicians during complex mechanical and electrical failures
  • Maintain and improve blow molding, bottle handling, filling, capping, and conveyor systems
  • Analyze production downtime and implement permanent corrective actions
  • Improve equipment reliability, line efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness
  • Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance activities
  • Lead root cause analysis for recurring equipment and production issues
  • Support equipment upgrades, new installations, commissioning, and startup projects
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to improve line performance
  • Ensure maintenance activities and equipment conditions meet GMP, FDA, and food safety requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, safety, quality, and throughput
  • Provide technical coaching and direction to maintenance technicians
  • Maintain clear documentation of equipment issues, repairs, and corrective actions
  • Provide after-hours technical support when critical production issues arise

Must-Haves as the Process Maintenance Engineer - Bottling Systems:
  • 5+ years of maintenance engineering experience in beverage manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience with Krones and/or Sidel bottling equipment
  • Experience troubleshooting blow molders, fillers, cappers, conveyors, and bottle handling systems
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience supporting automated production equipment
  • Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
  • Ability to guide maintenance technicians during major equipment failures
  • Experience supporting high-speed manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and food safety requirements
  • Strong communication and technical leadership skills
  • Ability to work onsite in Waco
  • Availability to provide after-hours support for critical production issues when needed

Nice-to-Haves as the Process Maintenance Engineer - Bottling Systems:
  • Experience with both Krones and Sidel equipment
  • PET bottle manufacturing experience
  • Blow molding process knowledge
  • Experience with PLC-controlled manufacturing systems
