Job Details:
Job Purpose/Summary:
The selected candidate must be local to the Greater Cincinnati Area as this position may require the selected candidate to sit on-site at the Kroger office.
This position is responsible for working with their respective sales leadership, internal business partners, and category managers to drive all supply chain and replenishment related activities to help meet customer in-stock goals, forecast accuracy, internal AOP and fill rate metrics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and distribute daily business reports/recaps to internal teams to provide clarity on in-stock positions and potential for store and DC outs due to supply chain opportunities as well as other daily reports that bring visibility to the pipeline by category for the total team.
  • Collaborate with sales team, planning teams, and CPFR Category Managers on planning, forecast alignment, and order management; understand DOS goals by Kroger DC and alert sales and Supply Chain Leadership when trending over/under. Connect forecasting with order activity and alert sales of significant gaps over/under within current week.
  • Review and influence in-stock positions at the store and DC levels by reviewing the pipeline daily for any items below goal; proactively work with cross-functional teams to provide recommendations to support improved in-stock performance.
  • Monitor markdowns weekly and review demand forecasts for any items that are trending upward. Proactively working with the Tyson sales manager to resolve any items of concern.
  • Review daily orders vs supply plan (customer forecast) and communicate known opportunities.
  • Work with internal partners and the Kroger Divisions to move close-dated product/potential distressed product.
  • Review and manage the weekly allocation file to understand available inventory and provide guidance on where to allocate product; communicate overconsumption opportunities and work to solve.
  • Support total CPFR Buying team with category management opportunities related to product movement - proactively identify opportunities to redirect inventory to appropriate DC, connect with Sales teams to ensure splits are accurately driving systematic product movement decisions within Tyson network
  • Review store on-hand inventory vs POS to identify phantom inventory and work with replenishment to right size inventory position
  • Communication of late trucks and impact to in-stock positions to Kroger and Tyson sales team members
  • Assist in root cause and resolution of ORAD related opportunities.
  • Partner with customer service on truck optimization, case-pick targets, and lead-time compliance to drive cost saving efficiencies
  • Support Kroger Supply Chain relationship by attending regularly scheduled meetings with the customer. The 1st line of communication with the Supply Chain manager on all replenishment related activity.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years forecasting, demand planning, replenishment preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; above average Microsoft Excel and Access Skills.
  • Kroger Experienced Preferred
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Special Skills: Time management, multi-tasking, problem solving, and being a team player is a must.
