Job description

Responsible for performing activities associated with the planning, creation  and execution of email and mobile (push, SMS, RCS) digital communications. Partner with the Project Management, Campaign Management, external digital marketing agencies and Digital Communications teams to activate communications with an emphasis on personalized dynamic content and refined customer segments. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum
 

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics or a similar digital analytics platform
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing and communications (email, mobile push, SMS, RCS)
  • Thorough knowledge of the CANSPAM Act and understanding of digital privacy laws (e.g. CCPA)
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong workflow management experience and ability to balance multiple projects with tight timelines
  • HTML/CSS knowledge for creating and editing email templates
  • Excellent attention to detail and communications skills 

Desired

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related area
  • Any digital communications experience with a multi-channel retailer or marketing/advertising agency
  • Any experience in digital communications platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Marketo, etc.)
  • Any experience working on complex email or digital communications campaigns
  • Success working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to identify resources needed and reprioritize project tasks while meeting deadlines and goals
  • Perform day-to-day digital marketing activities including, but not limited to, drafting creative briefs, testing, QA, and performance
  • Work with  Jewelry Division Ecommerce Manager to schedule all communications
  • Work with  Jewelry Division Ecommerce Manager on creative briefs utilizing industry best practices and learnings from Kroger's digital communications performance
  • Utilize various workflow management systems to approve and deliver all necessary assets to the Digital Communications Technology team
  • Interface with targeting teams and external digital marketing agencies to ensure proper lists and validate audience size and structure
  • Serve as an ongoing resource for Jewelry Division Ecommerce Manager and Creative Services to ensure optimal output and efficient processes
  • Use data and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of digital communications (email, mobile push, SMS, RCS, affiliate, paid search, and local listings)
  • Share digital communications best practices with various stakeholders
  • QA digital communications and deployment automations/journeys ensuring accuracy in content, audience, and structure
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
