Minimum

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field
  • 2+ years corporate tax or related field
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to effectively and professionally interact with all levels of an organization, government agencies and third-party consultants
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively initiate action and manage workload
  • Outstanding organization skills
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time and prioritize tasks to completion on time

  • Previous experience with compliance tax credits and incentives within the public or private sector
  • Prepare federal, state and local annual and quarterly compliance requirements for tax incentive portfolio
  • Prepare elements of actual vs. estimated tax incentive projections
  • Assist with data gathering process, including coordinating with accounting department and division controllers to obtain critical data
  • Gather and interpret information and assist with formulating conclusions to prepare compliance reporting
  • Prepare and deliver presentations regarding credit and incentive performances to management, highlighting successes and areas of opportunities for secured incentives
  • Accumulate and review payroll data for compliance reporting
  • Perform research and analysis related to federal and state credit opportunities
  • Respond to related tax correspondence and research issues as they arise
  • Update and maintain database of all credits and incentives secured by the company
  • Interact professionally and communicate clearly with company divisions, third party consultants and government personnel
  • Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
