Korean Bilingual Purchasing Specialist

Location : Farmington Hills, MI (100% Onsite)

[About Our Client]

This client is North American operations closely support major OEM production plants through localized supply chain management, engineering support, quality assurance, and customer service activities.

[Job Description]

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to achieve cost reduction, supply optimization, and stable supply chain operations.

- Manage supplier relationships including supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, negotiation, and continuous improvement activities

- Handle RFQ, PO Issuance, delivery tracking, and procurement documentation in compliance with company policies.

- Review and manage supplier contracts, commercial terms, and procurement compliance requirements

- Resolve supply issues, quality concerns, and logistics disruptions through proactive risk management activities.

- Utilize ERP systems (SAP) for purchasing transactions, reporting, and procurement data management.

Requirements

- Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field

- 5+ years of working experience in similar role

- Automotive or manufacturing industry experience preferred

- Multilingual proficiency is preferred, particularly in Korean, English, and Spanish

- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office

- Strong negotiation and communication skills

- Must be authorized to work in U.S.
