JOB SUMMARY:

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and driving day-to-day operations across all service lines in the Fargo market. This role owns team performance, operational efficiency, and execution quality - managing both office and field team members while working closely with leadership to uphold company standards and deliver results. The ideal candidate brings a construction background, strong organizational skills, and a hands-on approach to leading people and processes.

Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards
  • Manage and support teams, providing leadership, guidance, and development opportunities
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance, implementing improvements as needed
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality expectations
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute operational strategies
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and key stakeholders
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide reports to leadership
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 years of operations management experience in the construction industry; general construction background required, flooring focus a plus
  • Flooring experience, including installation, materials, and industry best practices is strongly preferred
  • Multi-family housing industry experience is preferred
  • Proven experience managing and leading both office and field teams, with a track record of driving quality, productivity, and results
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in operations management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and industry-specific tools
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in construction, flooring, and restoration
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities
