Job Summary:

They are seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Manager to lead their information technology team, ensuring effective security operations and incident response while aligning with business strategies. The role involves managing SOC operations, overseeing vendor relationships, and enhancing organizational cybersecurity posture.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage an information technology team, delivering end-to-end services which are aligned with and effectively and efficiently support business and IT strategies, goals and operations.
• Own the overall global security operations and incident response (IR) program.
• Ensure customer service excellence by driving the information technology service delivery for the system/business areas of accountability.
• Manage daily activities of information technology resources to deploy secure solutions that meet or exceed customer needs.
• Understand business objectives, processes, tools and related challenges to define functional area strategies, plans, technology roadmaps and projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve overall information technology and business processes to improve organizational efficiency.
• Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values.
• Manage global SOC operations, including day-to-day operations, 24/7 monitoring coverage, escalation workflows, and alert triage.
• Serve as the primary operational owner for Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) and security related third-party vendors.
• Coordinate the onboarding, tuning, and ongoing optimization of security tooling (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, EDR).
• Own the global incident response program, including policies, playbooks, and post-incident review processes.
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate incident response training and tabletop exercises to ensure cross-functional preparedness.
• Oversee Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategy to protect sensitive information across all platforms.
• Lead vulnerability assessment programs, prioritization, and remediation strategies in collaboration with IT and development teams.
• Define and track key performance indicators such as Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
• Evaluate emerging AI-enabled threat vectors and securely operationalize AI-driven security tools.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in either Cybersecurity with 7 years of experience, or a Master’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience is highly desirable.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Deep knowledge of security operations workflows, threat modeling, and modern cloud/hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Manage daily activities of information technology resources to deploy secure solutions that meet or exceed customer needs.
• Understand business objectives, processes, tools and related challenges to define functional area strategies, plans, technology roadmaps and projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve overall information technology and business processes to improve organizational efficiency.
• Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values.
• All GT leaders are accountable for upholding the organization's cybersecurity posture by adhering to security policies and procedures.
