Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to lead the parts department at our busy General Motors dealership. This is a great opportunity for a driven professional who excels in inventory management, customer service, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the dealership parts department

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage ordering processes

  • Work closely with service technicians to ensure timely parts availability

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers

  • Monitor department performance, sales, and profitability

  • Train, schedule, and supervise parts department staff

  • Ensure excellent customer service for both retail and wholesale clients

Qualifications:

  • Previous automotive parts management experience (General Motors experience preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts systems and inventory control

  • Leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment

  • Computer proficiency with dealership management systems
