We are seeking a Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive legal support to a dynamic and multidisciplinary legal team. This role reports to the Vice President, General Counsel and is ideal for a proactive professional with exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. The successful candidate will support a broad range of legal and administrative matters, including contract management, legal document review and drafting, knowledge management, process improvement, and special projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Draft, review, and redline legal documents, including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), vendor agreements, letters, memoranda, and other commercial contracts.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding NDAs and other legal documents and matters.
  • Coordinate electronic signature processes and maintain contract records, databases, and legal filings.
  • Support the development and implementation of processes that improve efficiency and organization within the Legal team.
  • Manage legal intake workflows and tools to ensure timely and effective support of legal requests.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance centralized legal resources, templates, and tools for internal stakeholders.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Procurement, Business Development, Engineering, Human Resources, Finance, and Operations.
  • Conduct legal and business research as needed to support various projects and initiatives.
  • Assist with knowledge management, document retention, and compliance-related activities.
  • Support and manage special projects and other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or equivalent role within a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Associate's degree in a related field or Paralegal Certification.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and principles.
  • Experience conducting legal research using online databases and other resources.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and legal technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally, as business needs require.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours on occasion to support critical business priorities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience supporting in-house legal teams and/or high-growth companies.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and collaboration tools.
  • Experience with platforms such as Slack, Confluence, Jira, Smartsheet, Lucidchart, or similar business applications.
  • Exposure to commercial contracting, procurement, compliance, intellectual property, or corporate governance matters.

$112,000 - $133,000 a year
