Senior Manager, Legal Operations

Your role on the team: (job description)

  • Work at the direction of the Americas CLO and in conjunction with CHO Legal Operations to: Optimize and manage the Americas legal, compliance and insurance budgets (human, financial, and technological resources), ensuring efficient allocation and strict cost control; Develop, formalize, roll out and maintain efficient processes and tools that promote simplification, agility, and high-quality service delivery to internal and external clients; Act as a change leader, supporting capability building across teams and fostering a culture of legal innovation and cross functional collaboration.
  • Assist Americas CLO and Legal team and in coordination with CHO Legal Operations to design, update, and harmonize contract and legal templates (commercial and corporate), ensuring accessibility and compliance across all subsidiaries.
  • Assist Americas CLO and Legal team and in coordination with CHO Legal Operations to define and execute an ambitious technology roadmap, including the selection and deployment and maintenance of digital tools (CLM, AI, knowledge management, collaborative platforms) to support the transformation of the legal function and maximize team value creation.
  • Manage invoices and payment to Department vendors and manage payment of settlements.
  • Prepare various reports for senior leadership.
  • Administration of Non-Disclosure Agreements, including management of review, revision and execution
  • Serve as direct contact with CHO Legal Operations.
  • Analyzes Department workflows to identify and propose efficiency improvements, and manages the implementation of process improvement projects
  • Operates as administrator for Legal Operations software tools, such as matter management, contract management, legal billing and ESI systems
  • Tracks and reports Department KPI’s and other reporting as requested, including dashboard creation and management using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Assists Attorneys in drafting, analyzing and negotiating a wide range of contracts and agreements.

What you need: (requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior experience within a legal department or at a law firm preferred
  • Knowledge of legal entity registrations and business license requirements
  • PC literate to include Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
