About the role:

Our recently established Centre for Intelligent Computing and Systems (CICS) is an exciting new multidisciplinary research centre within the Faculty of Science and Technology founded from passionate and highly regarded academics in Technology and Engineering fields dedicated to advancing intelligent systems and computing technologies.

CICS is seeking a Project Coordinator & Knowledge Broker to join this cutting-edge research across AI, machine learning, robotics, cyberphysical systems, immersive technologies and secure digital infrastructures, to support and advance the Centre's research priorities, partnerships, and profile. This role acts as a strategic liaison between researchers, funding bodies, and external collaborators whist coordinating and managing the centre's events and project activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised, proactive professional who enjoys working at the intersection of research, collaboration, and impact.

Key responsibilities:

Under the broad direction of the Director, CICS, you will:

• Identify and facilitate access to funding opportunities and support strategic engagement and partnerships,
• Provide endtoend support and coordination across research projects lifecycle,
• Coordinate and manage CICS's internal and external communications across multiple platforms,
• Actively seek opportunities to involve CICS researchers in external engagement and dissemination initiatives,
• Coordinate and organise activities, events and engagement to raise the Centre's profile nationally and internationally,
• Establish and manage records of all CICS activities, contacts, documentation, and resources,
• Coordinate project timelines, track deadlines, ensure timely submission of deliverables, and identify and manage associated risks.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Experience communicating complex information to a diverse range of stakeholder audiences,
• Demonstrated experience managing stakeholders to exchange knowledge, collaborate, and codesign,
• Experience in project coordination or management, including budgeting and supporting grant or tender development,
• Experience working in or with researchintensive environments (experience related to CICS research domains is desirable),
• Strong organisational and timemanagement skills,
• A proactive, selfmotivated approach and a commitment to supporting research excellence and impact.
