Job description

About Prometheus Group

We build software for the people who keep the world running-technicians, planners, and operations leaders inside refineries, power plants, factories, mines, and pharmaceutical campuses. Our products turn complex industrial work into something more manageable, measurable, and rewarding. We work where they work-and so does our content.

About the Role

We're hiring a Content Specialist to write the words that move our pipeline. You'll own a wide-ranging content portfolio-blogs, datasheets, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, landing pages, video scripts, and sales enablement-across our full product line and the industries we serve. You'll work closely with subject-matter experts and designers to turn complex technical material into clear, compelling content that resonates with industrial buyers.

What You'll Do
  • Own short-, medium-, and long-form copy across blog posts, datasheets, whitepapers, case studies, web pages, and sales-enablement assets
  • Maintain content standards - voice, tone, terminology - across the Prometheus Group portfolio
  • Build editorial calendars that align with campaigns, product launches, and demand-gen priorities
  • Interview SMEs (product managers, customer success, customers) to source insights and turn them into content
  • Partner with the design team on layouts, infographics, and visual storytelling
  • Partner with the digital marketing team to optimize content for SEO and lead conversion - clear hierarchy, strong CTAs, intent-aligned keywords
  • Measure content performance (traffic, leads, engagement) and iterate based on what's working
  • Partner with the Event Marketing Coordinator and broader marketing team on event-related campaign content, including collateral and follow-up sequences
What We're Looking For
  • 1-3 years of B2B content or marketing writing experience
  • A writing portfolio with range-blogs, long-form, and short-form web copy (required - applications without writing samples won't be reviewed)
  • Strong instinct for translating technical material into clear, audience-aware copy
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CMSs (HubSpot preferred)
  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals - keyword research, on-page structure, content briefs
  • Strong project-management and stakeholder-communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or equivalent professional experience
Bonus Points
  • Experience writing for B2B SaaS, industrial software, or technical audiences
  • Comfort using AI-assisted writing tools as part of your workflow
  • Video scriptwriting, podcast, or webinar production experience
Benefits Overview

We offer an attractive benefits program to meet the diverse needs of our teammates:

  • Employee base HSA plan, dental, life and short-term disability coverage 100% paid for by Prometheus Group
  • HSA & FSA plan options
  • Retirement Savings with Generous Company Match & Immediate Vesting
  • Gym membership to O2 Fitness
  • Casual dress attire
  • Half-Day Fridays
  • Generous Paid Time Off
  • Company Outings, Trips & Activities
  • Paid Parental Leave

We do not discriminate based upon race, religion, color, national origin, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.
