Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Automation Specialist to play a key role in optimizing data workflows, automating processes, and delivering actionable insights to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, with expertise in tools like Alteryx, Teradata, Knime, and Google Apps Script. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and optimizing Alteryx workflows, automating dashboards for business users, cleaning and processing data using Python, and consolidating multiple reports into comprehensive dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and optimize a portfolio of 150 Alteryx workflows, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in data processing.
  • Automate the creation of dashboards for business users using tools like Qlik, providing real-time insights, and enhancing decision-making capabilities.
  • Utilize Python for data cleaning and processing, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all sources.
  • Drive data discovery initiatives to uncover valuable insights and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Consolidate multiple reports into a single dashboard using Knime, simplifying data visualization and analysis for stakeholders.
  • Extract data from the data warehouse using Teradata and Google BigQuery and create derived datasets for injection into the KPI store.
  • Provide support for report automation, streamlining the process of generating and distributing reports.
  • Conduct thorough testing of reports to ensure that new data aligns with historical data and meets quality standards.
  • Utilize Google Apps Script to automate tasks and enhance productivity in Google Workspace.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data automation, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Alteryx, Knime, Teradata, Google Big Query, and Google Apps Script.
  • Familiarity with Teradata and Big Query experience pulling data from data warehouses.
  • Demonstrated ability to automate processes and create intuitive dashboards for business users.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Good to have knowledge and experience with Qlik.
