Job description

Knight Automotive Group is a family-owned and family-centric company built on integrity, accountability, and care for one another. For over 17 years, weโ€™ve proudly served our communities by providing end-to-end automotive solutions โ€” from sales and service to fleet and upfitting โ€” all under one roof. Our success starts with our people. We believe in creating an environment where team members feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow.

At Knight Automotive Group, we live by our Core Values: being accountable and taking great care of each other, always doing the right thing, focusing on our guests with empathy and helpfulness, staying respectful, genuine, and fun (โ€œthe sun, not the saltโ€), and never being satisfied โ€” always striving for improvement and excellence. Together, weโ€™re building a culture that wins through teamwork, continuous growth, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way.

The Sales Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and presentation of the dealershipโ€™s vehicle inventory. This position supports the sales team by staging vehicles for display, customer delivery, and test drives, while also assisting with lot logistics and general appearance. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping the dealershipโ€™s inventory and lot professional and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain the vehicle lot for both new and used inventory.
  • Park, move, and stage vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all vehicles are clean, fueled, and display-ready.
  • Assist with vehicle check-in upon arrival from transport or trade-in.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and accurate window stickers.
  • Support the sales and management team with customer deliveries and test drive coordination.
  • Maintain lot signage, flags, and display materials.
  • Assist with vehicle photography, lot cleanup, and general facility presentation.
  • Follow all dealership and safety guidelines when operating vehicles.
  • Represent Knight Automotive Groupโ€™s Core Values โ€” accountability, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement โ€” in all daily tasks.

What We Offer

  • Competitive and performance-driven pay structure
  • Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Paid time off (PTO), holidays, bereavement, maternity/paternity leave
  • Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and service
  • Paid online and offsite hands-on training for continued professional development
  • Opportunities for career advancement within a growing, family-owned automotive group
  • A supportive, family-oriented culture built on teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record required.
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Prior automotive or lot experience preferred but not required.
