Job description

Knight Automotive Group is a family-owned and family-centric company built on integrity, accountability, and care for one another. For over 17 years, we’ve proudly served our communities by providing end-to-end automotive solutions — from sales and service to fleet and upfitting — all under one roof. Our success starts with our people. We believe in creating an environment where team members feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow.

At Knight Automotive Group, we live by our Core Values: being accountable and taking great care of each other, always doing the right thing, focusing on our guests with empathy and helpfulness, staying respectful, genuine, and fun (“the sun, not the salt”), and never being satisfied — always striving for improvement and excellence. Together, we’re building a culture that wins through teamwork, continuous growth, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way.

The Service Drive Attendant plays an essential role in providing a welcoming, organized, and efficient experience for customers visiting the Service Department. This position supports Service Advisors by managing the vehicle flow in the service drive, assisting customers during check-in and pickup, and maintaining a clean, professional environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers as they arrive in the service drive and assist with vehicle intake.
  • Safely move customer vehicles to and from designated service or parking areas.
  • Perform light vehicle inspections such as checking mileage, VIN, and vehicle condition.
  • Maintain an orderly flow of traffic in the service drive to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Keep the service drive and customer waiting areas clean and organized.
  • Assist Service Advisors with paperwork, key management, and customer coordination.
  • Retrieve vehicles for customers upon service completion and assist with their departure.
  • Monitor lot organization and communicate with advisors and porters regarding vehicle status.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and represent Knight Automotive Group professionally at all times.
  • Uphold Knight Automotive Group’s Core Values — accountability, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement — in every task and interaction.

What We Offer

  • Competitive and performance-driven pay structure
  • Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Paid time off (PTO), holidays, bereavement, maternity/paternity leave
  • Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and service
  • Paid online and offsite hands-on training for continued professional development
  • Opportunities for career advancement within a growing, family-owned automotive group
  • A supportive, family-oriented culture built on teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • Prior automotive or customer service experience a plus.
