Job description

Position Title: Ecommerce Operations Coordinator

Reports To: Director of Ecommerce

The Ecommerce Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the hands-on execution of business tasks pertaining to the Ecommerce department. Responsibilities include release product launches, ensuring accuracy of inventory, collection page hygiene and management, testing new product features, and producing various commerce, analytics, and operations reports.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

Reporting

  • Execute daily and weekly Ecommerce sales and analytics reporting.
  • Produce top-line and bottom-line Sales Reports by Category.
  • Daily Inventory analysis reporting - Inventory discrepancy, Transfers, Recalls.
  • Manage list of Published and Unpublished products.
  • Cycle Count and Inventory Discrepancy reports.
  • Report upon and help improve speed-to-site operations involving Photography, Warehouse, Copywriting, and Retouching.
  • Monitor and report frontend and backend downtime, communicate with Call Center, Merchandising, and Executive teams accordingly.

Product Launches & Catalog

  • Manage products via proprietary PIM as well as within the Shopify Plus catalog including product categories, product tags, brand, pricing, color associations, and outfit groupings.
  • Work closely with Merchandising and Marketing teams to ensure catalog accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage Release Calendar web page - both frontend and operational components.
  • Work closely with Warehouse and Photography teams to ensure assets are produced promptly for release product launches.
  • Ensure quality of /collections, /pages, and /blogs across Shopify Plus website.
  • Collection page hygiene and management including titles, descriptions, sorting, filters, and facets.
  • Optimizing site-search via redirects and synonym libraries.
  • Implementation of SEO best practices; titles & descriptions, redirects, alt-copy, title tag definitions.
  • Address products with missing or erroneous attributes (Images, brand, title/description, collection, merchandising lists, etc).

Compliance

  • Conduct weekly audits on placed sales for sales tax, margin, and shipping rate analysis.
  • Report on and help optimize profitability by shipping service level.

Web Functionality and Operations

  • Collaborate with project managers (both internal and external) to help achieve new site functionality effectively and on time.
  • Test new site features and document testing results as part of the deployment cycle.
  • Publish and share Knowledge Base articles across various ecommerce operations categories including catalog management, mega-menu, filters and facets, sorting, site-search, collections, and product copy.
  • Troubleshooting and resolve reported issues pertaining to frontend User Experience and Site Performance.

Qualifications:

  • 1 - 2 years experience with above tasks required.
  • Experience working with Ecommerce systems preferred.
  • Ability to work across various Commerce, Reporting, and Fulfillment systems.
  • Ability to interpret and manipulate basic HTML, CSS, & JSON a plus.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
