As a Warehouse Tech Lead (VAS), you'll oversee the efficient flow of Value-Added Services (VAS) operations, including cable processing, kitting, relabeling, and customer-specific packaging activities. You'll ensure quality, productivity, and timely order completion while leading daily team activities, identifying process improvements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You'll serve as a working lead and may step in as Warehouse Supervisor when needed.
What You Will Do
  • Oversee shipping and VAS operations, ensuring timely, accurate order fulfillment and customer-specific product configurations.
  • Manage inventory and VAS activities including receiving, restocks, put-aways, cycle counts, cable cutting, kitting, relabeling, and customer-specific packaging.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently using powered industrial trucks (PIT), including order pickers, sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and reach trucks.
  • Train and develop employees while directing daily team workloads and working alongside the team to achieve operational goals and KPI targets.
  • Analyze warehouse and VAS processes to identify workplace issues, eliminate waste, and implement corrective actions that improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Pick, pack, and complete customer and internal orders using RF units while maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintain quality and housekeeping standards by ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Propose and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and waste elimination efforts.
  • Act as backup to the Warehouse Supervisor, coordinating order processing, directing daily work activities, and supporting operational priorities.
  • Handle order activity operations, including Oracle release and Transportation Management.
  • Support administrative tasks such as storeroom control, recycling, space management, and processing raw material receipts in Oracle.

What You Will Bring
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, including experience leading daily work activities; 1+ years of PIT experience preferred.
  • Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT), including order pickers, sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and reach trucks.
  • Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and Value-Added Services such as cable processing, kitting, relabeling, or customer-specific packaging preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify operational issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Physical fitness: Lift up to 50 lbs., stand, handle, and reach at torso level for a majority of the day.
  • Comfortable with heights.
  • Comfortable with basic computer and keyboard functions.
  • Reliable transportation and excellent punctuality.
