Job description

This position is Monday through Friday 6:45am to 3pm and is located at our Jeffersonville Ohio Facility!

Pay Rate: $17 an hour

Job Summary:

An associate in Rail Kitting, under the direction of the Production Supervisor, will be responsible for creating kits containing handrails, spindles, directions, templates, and screws for assembly and building. The incumbent will display a commitment to AZEK Core Values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to accident-free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.
  • Assembles pre-formed boxes.
  • Creates packages containing correct number of items for kitting packages, including handrails, spindles, printed installation directions, templates and building screws.
  • Labels completed boxes.
  • Brands and covers completed boxes.
  • Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by Supervisor/Management.

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

  • Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, warehouse environment.
  • Attention to detail, essential.
  • Work schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate the needs of the business.

Physical Demands:

Ability to work in an environment that can become cold/hot (temperature) depending on the weather.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for long periods of time and occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to hold, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear.  The employee must individually lift and/or move up to 50lbs, occasionally, infrequently.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. In addition, mobility to cover expansive facility is required.
