Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and streamline material flow within our facility. This role is a hands-on position that will require a proactive mindset and the ability to adapt quickly. The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of supply chain and is willing to spend their time on the manufacturing floor working with inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Accuracy: Lead regular Cycle Counts and perform necessary Inventory

  • Adjustments (In/Out) to ensure system data matches physical stock.

  • Floor Stock & Kanban Management: Take ownership of floor stock. You will manage replenishment through a Kanban ordering system, serving as the primary step toward full component kitting.

  • Kitting & Picking: Accurately perform Part Picking and assemble kits to support production schedules.

  • Material Handling: Assist with Incoming Receiving and Outgoing Shipping tasks. This includes De-trashing materials to maintain a lean, organized workspace.

  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse machinery (Forklift certification)

  • Material Transport: Be able to drive a van/pickup truck to deliver materials and vehicles between sites

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a Logistics, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing environment.

  • Systems Knowledge: Basic experience or a solid conceptual understanding of MES, ERP, or MRP systems.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to handle physical material movement, including lifting, reaching, and organized stacking.

  • Mindset: A proactive and independent approach to inventory organization and lean manufacturing concepts.

  • Driver's License: You will be expected to transport materials and vehicles between sites

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Valid Forklift Certification (or the ability to obtain one shortly after hire)
