Overview

***Salary ranges from $40K-$70K (negotiable based on experience)***

The Kitchen Sales Representative will customarily and regularly sell products and services offered by 84 Lumber to current and new clientele away from the 84 Lumber store locations. Identifies target customers, increases and maintains market share. Collects and keeps up-to-date information on customers’ product use and trends. Services contractors by selling building materials and installed sales services. Determines appropriate credit program based on customer’s needs. Meets and/or exceeds sales and profit goals by following up on sales leads, monitoring market trends and growing the positive reputation of the company. Ensures customer satisfaction by assisting with take-offs and communicating scheduling and delivery commitments.


Responsibilities

Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.

Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.

Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.

Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.

Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.

Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.

Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
