Key Responsibilities – Leadership & Kitchen Culture

  • Be a hands-on leader in the kitchen, setting a strong example of efficiency, consistency, and care.

  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager and ownership to align kitchen operations with business goals.

Key Responsibilities – Product Execution & Inventory

  • Ensure all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently throughout prep and service.
  • Oversee all recipe preparations and chicken production to exact standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships: (Sysco, RTI, PJP, etc.)
  • Manage maintenance relationships: (Refrigeration, Plumbers, Electrician, HVAC, etc.)
  • Maintain deep knowledge of all kitchen procedures, ingredients, equipment, and food safety standards.
  • Lead inventory management and daily/weekly ordering to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
  • Enforce cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities – Training & Team Development

  • Train, coach, and develop all back-of-house staff on proper procedures, prep techniques, and kitchen systems.
  • Ensure every team member understands and upholds the Love & Honey food standards.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the BOH team.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a kitchen leadership role, preferably in a fast-casual or quick-service restaurant.
  • 5+ years of experience working in professional kitchens.
  • Deep understanding of food safety, prep processes, and BOH systems.
  • Experience managing ordering, inventory, and BOH scheduling.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership presence and the ability to train and inspire others.
  • ServSafe Manager Certification is required.
  • Living in Close Proximity to Bryn Mawr and Having your own transportation is a plus+
