Premier LI Food Prep Company is Seeking an Experienced, Communicative Team Player to Join Our Team as a Senior Kitchen Operations Manager for Our Fast Paced, High Volume Commercial Kitchen!
The Kitchen Operations Manager oversees, plans and coordinates all aspects of the production process including food preparation, cooking, packaging, QA, sanitation processes, planning of shift labor, talent attraction and retention, and administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
Manage all facets of kitchen operations.
Manage employee schedules, and verify time cards
Oversee prepping and cooking processes and procedures to ensure compliance.
Oversee packaging of meals
Maintain stock levels
Meet production requirements while ensuring quality standards are met.
Inspect product for quality and consistency
Drive continuous Improvement
Maintain open and transparent communication with all department heads
Offer ideas and feedback to maximize production efficiency
Maintain facility organization and cleanliness
Assist in development and execution of operating standards
Skills/Experience Required:
5 plus years of supervisory/management experience in food processing/manufacturing operations with solid leadership experience.
Communication, training and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of increasing operational efficiency.
