Job description

Job Description: The Kitchen Manager will oversee all aspects of the kitchen including; staff management, scheduling, discipline and coaching; food prep, safety, quality, taste and presentation; and kitchen function and maintenance. Must be an exemplary team leader and motivator as well as an excellent communicator and teacher. The right candidate will be a master of all mechanical functions, as well—the total package!

Job Duties:

· Develop and standardize recipes

· Design food presentation aesthetics

· Plan and direct food prep and culinary activities

· Review food and beverage purchases

· Effectively delegate work to ensure an efficient kitchen

· Maintain kitchen—arrange for equipment purchases and repairs

· Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards

· Recruit and manage kitchen staff and remain mindful of payroll budget

· Perform other duties as assigned
