Assistant Kitchen Manager Greenvale, NY (Coming Soon)!

Uncle Giuseppes Marketplace is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Kitchen Manager for our gourmet store coming soon to Greenvale, NY ! Lead a talented kitchen team, prepare gourmet dishes from scratch, and ensure every customer enjoys high-quality, timely meals.

Your Role:

  • Assist the Kitchen Manager with supervising staff, scheduling, hiring, and training

  • Ensure all food items are stored, prepared, and served according to recipes and portion standards

  • Prepare dishes alongside the kitchen team following Uncle Giuseppes recipes

  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies

  • Manage inventory, order kitchen materials, and track ingredient usage

  • Collaborate with department managers on menu creation, pricing, and portion sizes

  • Train employees on safe operation of kitchen equipment and proper food handling

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What Were Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a restaurant or back-of-house environment
