Assistant Kitchen Manager - The Stand Woodland Hills 5780 Canoga Ave, Woodland Hills, CA 91367, USA

We're looking for a passionate, driven Assistant Kitchen Manager who takes pride in the kitchen, leads by example, and is ready to grow into a Kitchen Manager role with us.

What You'll Do as Assistant Kitchen Manager

Train and mentor kitchen team members daily

Run and manage multiple stations - salad, fry, grill, and expo

Ensure every item is built to spec, portioned correctly, and consistent every time

Oversee daily prep lists and keep the kitchen organized and running clean

Manage food purchasing and budgets, receive and verify vendor deliveries

Monitor equipment upkeep and flag maintenance needs

Foster a positive, family-style team environment

What We're Looking For a Assistant Kitchen Manager

1+ year leading a team in a kitchen environment

Experience on salad, fry, grill, and expo stations

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a prep list

Experience ordering to par and receiving from vendors

Proactive, punctual, and a clear communicator

Positive attitude - you raise the energy in the room, not drain it

Passionate about food and delivering a great guest experience every time

Must be 18 years of age or older
