Job Description

To assist Executive Chef and his assistant in daily administrative tasks in the kitchen.
To ensure smooth running of daily store item dispatching and storing in kitchen.
To coordinate in absence of Executive Sous-Chef: reception of fresh food deliveries, organisation of kitchen food transports ensuring respect of time schedule, precision of orders, hygiene, collection of data from all chefs in order to perform daily market list and send info to store clerk, collection of food items from store and correct delivery of outlets.
To assist Executive Chef in daily administration tasksย 
To help in any other section of the kitchen when asked.
Absolute respect of confidentiality. Any breach of that would result in severe disciplinary actions.
Be performant in basic administrative tasks.
Be performant in basic word, excel and Lotus notes software.
Be performant in digital photo treatment and process documents.
Complete re-filing of Executive Chef's office.

Qualifications

Qualification:
Middle or Secondary Education + Additional training or certificates in the relevant field is a plus.
Food handler certificate is a plus.


Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel industry on a similar position.
Proven experience working in a top luxury resorts is a plus.


Technical skills:
Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Must possess strong communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
Fluency in English or another language, written and verbal communication.
Knowledge a second language is a plus.
