Security Officer

US:NY:Buffalo | Facilities Support | Per-Diem

Department: KH Security Location: Buffalo General Medical Center Location of Job: US:NY:Buffalo Work Type: Per-Diem Scheduled Work Hours: Variable Shift 9

Security Officer

The incumbent in this position has direct responsibility for protection of persons and property, prevention and detection of crime and the general maintenance of peace and order. Assist patients, visitors and staff as needed.

Education And Credentials

High School Diploma or GED required. NYS Police Officer or Licensed NYS Security Guard upon hire required. NYS Drivers License preferred. CPR or BLS Certification within 90 days of hire required.

Experience

Prior Security experience preferred.

Working Conditions

Essential: * Weight Requirement - Heavy (up to 100 lbs)

**For non-clinical positions and nursing support positions, internal and external applicants must have the core competencies and sufficient work experience to perform in the per diem position for which they are applying.**
