KQT is expanding through our partnership with Christiana Care! Weโ€™re hiring EMTs, Paramedics, RNs, EVOs, Paratransit Drivers (Z Endorsement), Dispatchers, Call Takers, Mechanics, and more. Join our growing team during this exciting time.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Full-time daytime hours, 7 a.m. โ€“ 7 p.m., with flexible scheduling as needed.
  • Base Locations: Wilmington or Newark, DE

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to participants, families, neighbors, and facility staff.
  • Operate and maintain assigned vehicles safely and in compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of vehicles, offices, and workspaces.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, families, facilities, and dispatch.

Physical Demands

  • Sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach, push, pull, and lift frequently.
  • Assist participants with mobility, including stairs and wheelchairs.
  • Work in various weather conditions (cold, heat, rain, snow).
  • Regularly lift or move up to 125 pounds.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Driverโ€™s License with Z Endorsement.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • One year of related experience preferred.
  • Flexible work schedule.
  • Basic computer skills for electronic documentation and timekeeping.
  • Pre-employment drug screen and physical required (DOT physical may be required).
  • Background screening required as part of the hiring process.
