Job description

Junior High Archery Coach
An archery coach is responsible for teaching archery fundamentasl, correcting technigue, guiding archers of all levels to improve their skills, promoting safety, and supporting their development to achieve their full potential;  often by providing personalized instruction and guidance on equipment selection and maintenance; they may also work with competitive archers to strategize for competitions. 
Key responsibilities of an archery coach may include:



  • Teaching basic archery skills: Proper stance, grip, draw, release, aiming techniques, and range safety.
  • Identifying and correcting technical flaws: Analyzing an archer's form and providing feedback to improve accuracy and consistency.
  • Developing training plans: Designing personalized practice routines based on an archer's goals and skill level.
  • Mental coaching: Helping archers manage pressure, focus, and develop a positive mindset
  • Equipment selection and maintenance: Advising archers on choosing appropriate equipment and ensuring it is properly maintained
