Job description

Job Description:
Procera Complete Dental Lab specializes in the finalization of customized CAD/CAM dental prosthetics. We are seeking a Dental Lab Technician I to support key production processes including sorting and managing incoming cases, preparing items for finalization, and packaging completed prosthetics. This entry-level role requires a detail-oriented and efficient individual with strong manual dexterity, a touch of artistic skill, and a foundational understanding of dental principles. A customer-focused mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment are essential.
  • Frequently handle and manipulate small components using a pinch or squeeze grip with the non-dominant hand across multiple production tasks.
  • Operate small handheld power, impact, and vibratory tools with the dominant hand for brief durations, intermittently throughout the shift, to support product finishing and detailing.
  • Perform technical tasks using footpedal-operated handheld tools, assisting with material preparation and processing
  • Perform routine maintenance activities on equipment following established procedures.
  • Operate secondary equipment as required, including furnace, ultrasonic cleaner, sandblaster, etc.
  • Collaborate proactively with cross-functional departments to meet production goals.
  • Participate in team-driven manufacturing process improvements using Kaizen methodologies.
  • Conduct final inspections, packaging, and/or labeling of finished products as needed.
  • Identify and escalate issues such as quality concerns to the appropriate manager or department.
  • Maintain safety compliance by following policies, 5S initiatives, and performing regular housekeeping.
  • Engage in required training sessions to support skill development and compliance.

Job Requirements:
Critical Knowledge and Qualifications: (what the role holder must know; including any required general or professional qualifications/education)
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working as a Dental Technician or experience working within similar or equivalent high-precision artistic manufacturing process
  • General understanding of dental anatomy preferred

Critical Skills/technical know-how: (what the role holder must be able to do)
  • Professional proficiency in English required
  • Professional proficiency in PC-standard software (MS-Office); basic knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Ability to identify slight variances in color and hue
  • Must have a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle and manipulate small components using a pinch/squeeze grip with the non-dominant hand across multiple tasks performed frequently throughout the full duration of the shift
  • Ability to operate small handheld power, impact, or vibratory tools with the dominant hand for short durations, repeatedly throughout the full duration of the shift
  • Ability to sit for 8 hours during work shift with occasional breaks, willing to work overtime depending on business demands
  • Ability to see through and perform tasks using a microscope
  • Ability to operate equipment using a foot pedal

Critical Experience:
  • Some experience as a Dental Technician or equivalent experience working in a high-precision artistic manufacturing process
  • Experience working in dental lab preferred
  • Experience working in a regulated environment preferred

The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
