Employment Type: W2 | Short-Term (2 day) | Start: Monday 5/11 and Tuesday 5/12
Pay: $18.00/hr | Weekly pay

About the Role

Great Basin Staffing is hiring two General Laborers for a fast, 2-day commercial kitchen install. Youll help unload heavy equipment, move it into place, uncrate/peel wrap, assemble light furnishings, and keep the work area clean and safe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unload semi-trailer with 50+ lb commercial kitchen equipment (team lifts/material handling).
  • Move equipment into the building; position per site direction.
  • Peel plastic, uncrate equipment, and dispose of packaging (break down cardboard/film).
  • Assemble basic items: tables, chairs, shelving.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area; follow crew lead instructions.

Requirements

  • Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly; stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Reliable, punctual, safety-minded; follow directions and site protocols.
  • Full PPE required: hard hat, grip gloves, safety glasses, hi-vis vest or T-shirt, steel-toe shoes.
  • Basic hand-tool familiarity (Allen keys, wrenches, screwdrivers).
  • Valid ID for site check-in; eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Construction Experience Highly Preferred

Schedule & Logistics

  • 2 day, full shifts (expect 810 hours/day; possible OT if needed).
  • Indoor/outdoor transitions; loading dock and finished-space handling.
  • Paid via W2, standard payroll cycle.
