The Opportunity

The Account Director is accountable for developing and implementing an account plan that delights our clients and ensures a healthy long-term relationship. This role oversees a sophisticated multi-service account delivering integrated solutions across JLL's full service portfolio-including facilities management, project management, transaction management, technology, and sustainability-requiring proven ability to manage complex, matrixed operations at scale.

This executive leader anticipates client needs, outperforms on key contractual performance indicators, and builds financial plans that exceed revenue and profitability targets. The Account Director creates and manages high-performing teams that deliver operational excellence while keeping employees engaged and thriving. In conjunction with the Work Dynamics leadership team, this leader understands the firm's strategy and goals and translates them into business opportunities. This role serves as the top leadership position on the account.

Primary Responsibilities

Exceeding Client Expectations

  • Coordinate and align delivery across facilities management, project management, transaction management, technology, and sustainability service lines, ensuring a seamless, unified client experience that demonstrates the power of JLL's integrated platform.
  • Create the vision for the account plan, ensuring alignment of objectives and driving high-quality results that help secure the future through no-bid contract renewals.
  • Drive account growth by articulating value propositions across multiple service disciplines and ensuring expansion of services provided.
  • Establish outstanding relationships with key stakeholders by soliciting feedback and excelling at world-class client service delivery.
  • Serve as the single point of accountability across multiple sites and service lines, ensuring consistency of service delivery and client experience regardless of geography or service type.
  • Manage competing priorities across geographically dispersed locations and diverse service requirements while maintaining a unified account strategy that leverages cross-service synergies.

Building High-Performance Teams

  • Ensure the highest qualified candidate is hired for all roles on the account across all service lines.
  • Build actionable and measurable career development plans for all direct reports, fostering leadership capability across the multi-service team.
  • Advance the firm's diversity and inclusion priorities with planful and focused talent planning.
  • Develop bench strength and succession planning across all service disciplines to ensure continuity and growth.

Achieving Financial Results and Contributing to Firm's Revenue Growth

  • Present an annual account plan that includes key objectives, client satisfaction results, summary of value-add activities across all service lines, and outlines targeted expansion plans.
  • Proactively manage to the account budget across multiple service lines and identify opportunities to generate additional revenue on the account.
  • Mitigate risk for the firm by ensuring A/R is maintained below 60 days payable.
  • Demonstrate financial stewardship across the full portfolio of services, optimizing resource allocation and identifying cross-service efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Seasoned leader with 10+ years of Facility Management and Commercial Real Estate executive leadership experience.
  • Extensive multi-service leadership experience with demonstrated success managing integrated accounts across at least three of the following: facilities management, project management, transaction management, technology, or sustainability services.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary teams and delivering cohesive solutions across complex service portfolios.
  • Significant experience in direct client relationship management, negotiation, and strategic consultation with executive-level stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth through cross-service collaboration and integrated solution development.
  • Experience managing P&L responsibility across multiple service lines with a history of exceeding financial targets.
