Job Description

The candidate in this position will be responsible for efficient and profitable marketing and sales operations, dealing with B2B contractor customers in the Pittsburgh area. To succeed in this role, you need to be passionate and customer obsessed while serving clients and managing the local sales operations. The position will also manage a team of operation and service support personnel to meet market expectations. This role offers an ability to become an equity partner. This position will report directly to the regional sales manager.

  • Responsible for sales to contractors and institutional accounts
  • Analyze the sales, marketing and pricing strategies
  • Support the development of budgets, processes and products for the assigned market segment
  • Gathering and analyzing intelligence on market and activities of competitors
  • Communicate with customers and vendors to maintain optimum customer satisfaction
  • Lead, motivate, support the team
Qualifications
  • High-School Diploma, Associate Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of Irrigation and Landscape supply experience
  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • 3+ years of management and customer-facing experience
  • Professional attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Drive to learn and develop the client base
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Multitasking and time-management skills
  • Experience in marketing and social media marketing preferred
  • Experience in training support individuals
  • Forklift experience
  • Ability to walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
