About the job
Join a 50-Year Family-Owned Company

For more than 50 years, Yerecic Label has been a family-owned and operated company serving the fresh food industry. Our long history reflects a commitment to stable leadership, continuous investment in technology, and strong, lasting partnerships with both our customers and our team.
This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys building strategic partnerships, uncovering opportunities, and working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver innovative label solutions that help customers succeed.
What You'll Do
As a Key Account Manager you will develop relationships with fresh food manufacturers, processors, growers, and retailers while identifying and developing new business opportunities within the territory. A typical week may involve the following:
  • Meeting with fresh food manufacturers, growers, and retailers to understand their labeling and merchandising needs
  • Identifying and developing new account opportunities within the territory
  • Preparing and presenting proposals that clearly communicate Yerecic Label's value
  • Maintaining regular contact with customers and prospects through purposeful business engagement
  • Working with sales coordination and graphic design teams to initiate projects, supporting customer communication and project execution
  • Attending industry conferences and trade association meetings to expand relationships within the fresh food market
  • Updating weekly and quarterly sales reports and participating in quarterly sales meetings
  • Traveling within the territory, including up to 40% overnight travel and occasional weekends

Who Thrives in This Role
This role tends to be a strong fit for a sales professional who enjoys building relationships while actively pursuing new opportunities. The most successful candidates in this position typically:
  • Take ownership of their territory and enjoy identifying and developing new business opportunities, not simply managing existing accounts
  • Are comfortable prospecting, initiating conversations, and opening doors with potential customers
  • Approach sales with curiosity seeking to understand how customers operate and how solutions can help them grow
  • Build trust through consistent follow-up, responsiveness, and a genuine interest in long-term partnerships
  • Are energized by the challenge of turning a prospect into a long-term customer relationship
  • Work well across internal teams to move opportunities forward and deliver on customer expectations
  • Manage their time and travel effectively while maintaining frequent, meaningful contact with customers and prospects

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Agriculture or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the food or packaging industry
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to senior executives and build trust with clients
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to manage diverse accounts effectively
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%, including some weekends, to meet client needs
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Office

Why Work for Yerecic Label?
  • Base salary with uncapped commission potential
  • Health insurance with Yerecic Label paying the majority of team members' deductibles
  • 401(k) savings plan with Roth option + company match
  • Life insurance provided by Yerecic Label
  • Yerecic Label provides dental insurance for free to team members
  • A supportive, fast-paced environment where your efforts directly impact company success
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement
