Title: CustodianLocation: Kotzebue, AKStatus: Full-TimePosition Summary: KIC is seeking a full time Custodian to join our team in Kotzebue. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in our facilities. The Custodian will be responsible for ensuring facilities are well-kept, performing routine cleaning and sanitization, and assisting with general maintenance tasks as needed.Responsibilities:Sweep and mop floors as assigned.Wash linens as needed.Dust facilities and apartments.Clean vacated rooms and apartments.Dispose of trash on a regular basis.Vacuum or steam clean rooms and apartments.Complete work orders as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:High School Diploma.Prior experience cleaning in apartments and/or leased rooms.Ability and knowledge of appliances to report and complete work orders as required.Work Environment:This position operates primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor work. Custodians may be exposed to cleaning chemicals, dust, and moderate noise from equipment.
