Summary of Position:

  • The KIC will oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.

Major Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):

Kreation Krew

  • Supervising, coaching, and training Krew members on guest service, safety and sanitation procedures, providing immediate coaching to team during each work shift
  • Search, select, assist in hiring process, retain, and develop high-caliber Krew members; being friendly, positive, helpful, and team-oriented by showing respect to all Krew members and guests, learning new skills to help the company, the team, and yourself
  • Ensure all Krew members are appropriately trained and certified for their areas within two weeks of starting
  • Ensure all Krew members follow meal period and rest break guidelines, and turn in break waivers when applicable
  • Driving a safe and sanitary culture, leading by example; recognizing positive behaviors, coaching negative behaviors, and immediately addressing any safety or sanitation concerns
  • Delegating areas of general responsibility to ensure complete coverage for stores and maximum efficiency
  • Effectively cross-train in all store functions to act as a back-up when needed
  • Reviewing new processes and implementations with Super KIC, reviewing core roles and best practices with Krew members; evaluating performance, writing and conducting reviews; recommending and administering corrective action with the support of Super KIC & HR
  • Manage downtime by delegating tasks including deep cleaning, cut labor as necessary

Kreation Service

  • Leading by example, embodying Kreation’s service standards, greeting guests with eye contact, a smile, and offering to help find their next Kreation taste adventure
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times; acknowledge all waiting guests and offer samples
  • Coaching proactive service to team members to include add-ons, kleanse programs, new things to try, etc.
  • Ensure store banking procedures are properly followed, communicating and following up on any opportunities regarding procedural errors at the cash registers and immediately reporting any cash discrepancies

Kreation Selection

  • Performing and training team members on FIFO rotation, product filling, and merchandising practices, pulling expired product off shelves and disposing of properly
  • Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with Kreation’s receiving policies and procedures, reporting any discrepancies to the factory
  • Monitor and manage PAR levels daily, adjusting quantities based on sales trends, weather, special events, waste and finished items. Properly document waste
  • Ensure bottle returns are properly returned or discounted through POS and documented

Kreation Style

  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ensure Look & Feel guidelines are being followed with respect to signage, uniform, music playlists, general store vibe & culture
  • Ensure that the store facade and outside seating areas are kept clean and report any issues to maintenance team immediately

Kreation Excellence

  • Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
  • Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures and reporting any issues immediately
  • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, product reports, EOD reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
  • Carry out Kreation marketing, advertising and promotional activities and campaigns based on instructions and materials provided by Kreation’s marketing team
  • Reporting issues in any area of operation in a timely manner and following up on a response or solution from supervisor
  • Reading and responding to emails in a timely manner, reporting new information, products or policies to team members and ensuring they understand and acknowledge all company memos
  • Ensure discounts, including employee meals, are being used and documented properly
  • Enter tips, approve adjust time cards daily, complete and submit payroll bi-weekly
  • Complete thorough Look & Feel/maintenance walkthrough and checklist weekly
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:

Position Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:

Minimum:

  • 2 plus year experience hospitality and customer service, food and beverage
  • A Degree in Hospitality preferred
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution
  • Current working knowledge of industry standards and practices
  • Submit daily End of Day Report
  • Reading location’s EOD reports
  • Able to perform basic math
  • Able to work POS
  • Excellent phone communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and Organizational Skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Able to lead and train Kreation Staff
  • Flexible and a team player

Physical Requirements in Accordance with ADA:

  • Carrying/Lifting: Maximum of 25 lbs.
