Job description

Join a team that's redefining final-mile delivery. JW Logistics moves thousands of packages every day for
some of the country's biggest retailers โ€” and we're growing fast. We're hiring across all shifts, seven
days a week, and we want people who care about doing the job right.

Why This Role Matters
Every delivery has a story behind it โ€” a customer waiting, a driver on the road, a business counting on
us. When something needs attention, our National Customer Operations Support (NCOS) team is the
voice and the brain that keeps things moving. You'll be the person who turns a stressful moment into a
smooth one. That's a big deal, and we treat it that way.

What You'll Do
Your day is a mix of communication, problem-solving, and quick thinking. Specifically, you'll:
โ€ข Answer inbound calls, emails, and system alerts with a calm, friendly voice
โ€ข Keep an eye on live deliveries across multiple markets using our dashboards
โ€ข Work with drivers and business centers to get answers fast when something comes up
โ€ข Give customers clear, honest updates on their deliveries
โ€ข Document what's happening as it happens so the whole team stays in sync
โ€ข Loop in supervisors on the trickier situations and learn from how they're handled
โ€ข Spot patterns and share what you're seeing โ€” your insights help us get better

Shifts Available
We're hiring for all shifts, covering 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM, seven days a week. Whether you're a
morning person, a night owl, or someone who prefers weekends, we likely have a schedule that fits your
life. Let us know what works for you when you apply.

What a Great Day Looks Like
You'll know you're crushing it when you can:
โ€ข Juggle several deliveries and conversations without losing the thread
โ€ข Stay steady when things speed up
โ€ข Solve the easy stuff yourself and know when to ask for backup
โ€ข Leave every customer feeling taken care of

Who We're Looking For
You don't need a logistics background โ€” we'll teach you what you need to know. What we care about
most:
โ€ข Some experience talking to customers, whether that's retail, food service, a call center, or
anywhere else you've helped people

โ€ข Comfortable using a computer and willing to learn new systems (basic Excel is a plus, not a
must)
โ€ข Clear communicator, both on the phone and in writing
โ€ข Organized enough to keep track of several things at once
โ€ข Reliable โ€” your team is counting on you to show up and follow through

Why JW Logistics
โ€ข Starting pay of $19.50/hr with room to grow as your skills do
โ€ข A clear path forward โ€” many of our supervisors and Tier 2 specialists started right here
โ€ข Real exposure to how a national logistics operation runs
โ€ข A team culture built on accountability, communication, and having each other's backs
โ€ข The kind of work where what you do actually matters by the end of every shift

The Work Environment
This is a desk-based role in a fast-paced operations center. You'll work across multiple screens and tools,
and the pace can pick up quickly. Occasional light lifting (up to 50 lbs) may come up, but day-to-day
you'll be at your station making things happen.

Experience & Skills

  • 1โ€“3 years of customer service, call center, or operations support experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and computer systems

Core Characteristics

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Self-motivated and reliable
  • Calm under pressure with a strong sense of urgency
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communicators and team players
  • Adaptable to change and growth
  • Trustworthy with high integrity
  • Willing to take a โ€œwhatever it takesโ€ approach to support the team

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced, high-growth operations environment
  • May require working various shifts
  • Frequent multitasking and interruptions
  • Use of multiple systems and office equipment
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Minimal travel (<30%)
