Position Summary...Walmart Connect is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, sellers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, and agencies. Our full funnel ad solutions leverage Walmart’s in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with Walmart consumers, and convert Walmart consumers to shoppers.
As the Technical Solutions Agency Team Lead, you will manage a team of technical solutions specialists (TSS) who act as strategic architects for Agency Partnerships. Your team works to accelerate Walmart Connect product adoption and improved technical solutions for our joint customers.
Your responsibilities include mentoring and leading your TSS team associates, managing and growing strong client relationships with Agencies and their Holding Companies, maintaining the technical health of these partners, scoping projects, unlocking strategic opportunities, collaborating across external and internal stakeholders, and fostering a positive team culture. You will track progress towards targets and effectively navigate the relationships between Walmart Connect and our Agency Partners to drive optimal advertising performance and client success.What you'll do...
  • Lead a team of technical solution specialists working with one of Walmart Connect’s most critical partner segments: Agencies
  • Partner with leadership to shape the Technical Solutions strategy to enable the team’s largest Agency cohorts and most complex engagements
  • Set clear goals and direction for the team and each individual; provide regular feedback on the associate’s performance
  • Engage with Agency technical leads to collect product feedback and influence the development of new product features
  • Collaborate with Partner Development Managers to establish business plan objectives and identify new growth opportunities
  • Oversee product roadmap sessions driving prioritization for Walmart Connect features and work with internal stakeholders to accelerate time to support across Agencies
  • Champion creative strategic thinking and put forward new topics of interest for the Agency business
  • Monitor performance of Walmart Connect Products such as Sponsored Search and On-site/Off-site Display to help the team improve features adoption across new product releases
  • Hire and retain top technical talent as the team scales, ensuring the growth of their careers and work engagement
What We're Looking For...
  • 5+ years of experience in professional services, customer success, solutions architecture, or technical account management programs
  • 3+ years of people management experience, leading senior technical ICs
  • Deep familiarity and established relationships with Agencies, Holding Companies, and Independent Agencies
  • Strong knowledge of APIs and experience with retail media, social, programmatic, and CTV platforms
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems proactively in a client-centric, fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal business communication skills, with ability to present to Sales teams and leadership
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional stakeholders both internally and externally to meet common goals
Minimum Qualifications...
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Technology, or related field
  • Direct work experience either in an advertising, marketing or related field
  • Proven advertising tech knowledge and experience working specifically with Media agencies
     
Preferred Qualifications...
  • Master's Degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field or experience in related field
