What is Jury Solutions?

Jury Solutions typically refers to organizations or services that provide tools, training, and consulting to help legal professionals prepare for trials, particularly in the area of jury selection and trial strategy. These solutions may include mock trials, focus groups, jury research, and technology to analyze potential jurors' backgrounds and attitudes. The goal is to assist attorneys in understanding jury behavior and improving their chances of a favorable verdict. Jury Solutions professionals often have backgrounds in law, psychology, or communications, and work closely with trial teams throughout the litigation process.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a jury consultant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Jury Consultant, you need a background in psychology, law, or social sciences, with expertise in research methods and data analysis. Familiarity with survey software, statistical analysis tools, and trial presentation systems is common in this role. Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills help you effectively advise legal teams and interpret juror behavior. These skills are vital for offering insights that guide jury selection and trial strategy, ultimately influencing case outcomes.
