Job description

Delta Technologies is an industry leading tooling company who is searching for a Junior CNC Machinist. The Junior CNC Machinist works from designs to build and repair thermoplastic and thermoset injection molds to company standards. Our customers are automotive manufacturers and suppliers in one of the fastest growing automotive regions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Learn to study designs of Press Tools and Plastic Injection molds, and prototype parts and visualizes shape, mechanical structure, and operation of the die and mold. Understanding application of Jigs and Fixtures.
  • Learn machine set-ups, adjusting speeds, feeds, and depth of cut, to machined parts to specifications set forth in designs, engineering orders, etc.
  • Learn to checks machined parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances.
  • Required to operate numerical control machines.
Qualifications
  • Be willing and able to follow instruction.
  • Set-up and safely operate Vertical Milling Machines, Surface Grinders, Overhead Cranes, Saws.
  • Proficient aptitude and basic hand tool experience.
  • Ability to aid in moving, disassembling, cleaning molds and components in a safe manner.
  • Understand the importance of accurate documentation and follow described methods and procedures.
  • Recognize the challenges of the trade and demonstrate a willingness to learn and desire to advance.
