RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Junior System Analyst in San Antonio, TX.
Summary:
The Junior Systems Analyst will support a high-volume customer operations team by assisting with reporting, data analysis, and system support activities. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders to help monitor operational performance, maintain recurring reports, respond to ad hoc data requests, and support ongoing process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, naturally curious, and interested in growing their career within reporting and business analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the creation and maintenance of operational reports and dashboards
* Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
* Assist with recurring and ad hoc reporting requests from leadership and business partners
* Collect, validate, and organize data from multiple sources
* Help maintain reporting processes and documentation
* Support system administration and platform-related tasks as needed
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency
* Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational analysis
* Develop and present findings in a clear and concise manner
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, filtering, and data manipulation
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Self-starter with a high level of curiosity and willingness to learn
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with limited direction
* Experience working with data, reporting, operations, customer support, call center, QA, help desk, or similar environments is preferred
* Exposure to data visualization or reporting tools is a plus
Preferred:
* SQL or database querying experience
* Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar reporting tools
* Experience in creating dashboards or business reports
* Exposure to process improvement, operational metrics, or performance reporting
* Entry level candidates with relevant internships, projects, or practical experience are encouraged to apply
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
