Job Title: Structural Design Engineer
Location: Pelzer, SC
Duration: Long term

Job Summary

The Structural Design Engineer will design and support structural systems for customized power modules, IT modules, telecom facilities, and modular data centers. The role involves structural calculations, construction drawings, code compliance, fabrication support, testing, and coordination with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare structural designs for modules and data center structures.
  • Create schematic, detail, and construction drawing packages.
  • Design lifting points, anchoring points, foundations, gutters, flashings, and mechanical structural parts.
  • Perform static, dynamic, seismic, thermal, and structural calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international building codes.
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, architectural, and manufacturing teams.
  • Review structural submittals, material specifications, welding procedures, and inspection requirements.
  • Support fabrication quality checks, factory testing, site testing, and module repairs.
  • Work with customers, suppliers, vendors, and external engineering teams.

Skills Required

  • Structural/mechanical design knowledge.
  • AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
