Looking for a motivated and talented candidate who is passionate about delivering high quality software. The MATLAB Online Quality Engineering team is responsible for validating back-end services and customer-facing online applications. The team ensures that cloud-hosted offerings are fully qualified and integrate well, meeting functional and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities
- Develop collaborative, downstream, and workflow level test strategies adhering to industry best-practices including contract testing and test pyramid compliance
- Design and develop test tooling and automation to support qualification of microservices and online offerings
- Leverage data (observability, bug reports, test metrics, etc.) to improve quality of our products by analyzing root cause and developing deep and lasting counter-measures to prevent high-impact issues.
- Consult with teams to identify opportunities to improve test automation to improve the speed and confidence of our releases.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 10 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required.

- Experience with multiple modern languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Go, or Node.js
- Experience with JavaScript test frameworks, e.g., PlayWright, QUnit, FuncUnit, Cypress
- Experience with version control and CI/CD systems such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity, or CircleCI
- Experience with build systems such as ANT, mise, make, or Maven
- Experience with Cloud and container technologies (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform)
- Experience with MATLAB or Simulink
